A.   It is by business requirement of the applicant to select. If Basic trademark has gotten certificate of registration in domestic, all of contracting parties could be assigned (in the Madrid Protocol and Madrid Agreement). But if only getting domestic notice of application acceptance, Algeria cannot be assigned.

(2)  Which countries are in assigned European Union?

A.   Except of Malta, there are all countries in assigned European Union(26 countries ) ,Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Republic of Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, and Slovakia.

(3) What advantages and disadvantages there are for assigned European Union?

A.     Its advantage is to save the charge. Its disadvantage is  if one of members arose some objects, invalidity and such abnormal condition of the trademark, that could affect on the others members.

(4)What specific requirements are there for assigned some special countries or organization?

A.   assigned European Union must select the second language. Assigned US must attach MM18 form.
